About the Ear & Health Clinic

Many of you will know Jacqueline Morton from The Foot Health Clinic, established 17 years ago in Killearn, Buchlyvie, and Torrance. Jacqueline studied at the Smae Institute, qualifying as a Foot Health Practitioner after deciding to change career, and hasn’t looked back since. All the clinics have been a huge success and continue to grow.

Three years ago, Jacqueline also qualified as a Clinical Ear Care Practitioner, providing a further service to all the Stirlingshire villages. The clinics have been in huge demand due to the NHS cutting down on ear care services. The majority of Audiologists do not do Ear Wax Micro suction, as this is done by a qualified Clinical Ear Care Practitioner. Given that local health centres no longer provide wax removal, many local GP practices and pharmacists now refer to Jacqueline for her excellent service.

Jacqueline is backed up by Audiology and ENT consultants should further input be required. If necessary, onward referrals can be made to the GP. Home visits are now available to those who cannot make the ear clinics or are housebound.

Before starting these successful businesses, Jacqueline worked for a charity in Glasgow that specialised in Multiple Sclerosis. There, she set up the Foot Clinic and worked as a complementary therapist.

Jacqueline also worked and traveled for many years around the world before returning to Scotland in the late 1990s.

Jacqueline is fully insured as a Foot Health Practitioner and Clinical Ear Care Practitioner.
